Michael Hammer

Michael is a Senior Research Associate for OIEP. Prior to joining OIEP, he served as Data Analyst for Mason’s College of Health and Human Services and was an assistant professor and a department chair at Tulsa Community College. He has also been an adjunct instructor at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University and has over five years of experience in research administration and nonprofit development. Michael is also a doctoral student at GMU in Computational Social Science. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma with a focus in statistical methods, management, and finance, as well as humanities degrees from Oxford University (with distinction) and Georgetown University.

When he’s not working, Michael trains for competitive Olympic recurve target archery and participates in writer’s groups.
