Lisa Anh Nguyen

Lisa currently serves as Director of Data Analytics to provide streamlined research to support planning and decision-making efforts across Mason. This includes supporting accreditation and mandated reporting.
 
Prior to joining Mason, Lisa was the Director of Institutional Research and Reporting at Clackamas Community College in Oregon where she led a small team to conduct survey research, analyze and communicate data, evaluate program effectiveness, and create data tools. Additionally, as co-chair of the Data Integrity Group, she facilitated college-wide conversations to improve the quality of and confidence in college data, and to review new technology solution proposals to assess their potential impact on the sociotechnical system of the institution. Leading up to her stint in Oregon, Lisa worked in institutional research at a number of community colleges in Southern California.
 
Over the years, Lisa has engaged in professional associations as a contributor and as a learner. Most recently, she served as Treasurer on the Pacific Northwest Association for Institutional Research and Planning. In California, she served as a Member-at-Large on the Research and Planning Group for California Community Colleges to represent Southern California institutional researchers on statewide efforts, including online education reform.
 
Lisa earned a BA in Sociology and a MA in Demographic and Social Analysis from the University of California, Irvine.
 

Despite being born and raised near the beaches of Southern California, Lisa still uses floaties to swim.
