Fall 2020 Mason Pulse Survey Results

The purpose of the Mason Pulse Survey, distributed to all Mason students enrolled in Fall 2020, was to capture student impressions and experiences when Mason abruptly moved to a 100% distance-learning format in response to the pandemic caused by COVID-19. The instrument included questions about the quality of virtual instruction, experiences with Blackboard (instruction platform), awareness of and needs for campus resources, COVID-19 impacts, and intent to re-enroll in Spring 2021. This information can be used to gauge the student experience, identify and address areas for improvement including providing additional student support, and plan for the future.
